hiyaz! (haha... i gonna rant on and on... so watch out)
another piccy by me! This pic was made b/c.... a friend had a different drawn piccy she got from a diff anime artist like me...and wanted me to draw another version of the piccy (to edit it).. but eh... i really didnt like the original picture she showed me bc it looked like hentai and it was really scary cuz... it was horrible drawing... (it was a girl with cat ears in a really slutty outfit... the art was just... messed up... body portions was off, legs and arms were like slinkies, clothes were wierd, not original positions, and the eyes were like... ugh... and the style was just not there. i was really picky and pointed out all the mistakes... to me, it looked like scribbles) And so... to edit it i... Made it a wolf girl (kewler), gave it a flowy/windy costume (more clothes to cover more skin), gave it more style and design (tattoos... O_O) more personality and a new postition that ive never tried out (yay! i finally achieved how to make characters look like their looking behind!) O, and i made it into my OWN DRAWING STYLE. BUWHAHAHAHA!!! ( i just really hate it when ppl try to learn how to draw anime from 'how to' art books bc they really dont learn anything since itz not thier own style. Compare FMA, Naruto, Bleach and Inuyasha! They are kewl anime and thier styles are completely differnet! PLEASE PPLS! PLEASE DRAW IN UR OWN STYLE! MAKE A STYLE! I APPRECIATE IT! it makes me cringe when ppls try to copy others... itz ugh... so yesh, im ranting! cuz that stupid pic drawn by sumone made me really angry! If u dont get how to make ur own style, dont be afraid to ask....) um... comments?  ;;;; |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. how to draw books have their place, but it's in the minds of the artist, not where it usually ends up, the hearts...
i think the main problem is that tooo many people see their one book as a definative reference on the entire style, when in reality, it's just reference on one, insignificant, artist...

meez never learned anime style (attempted in jr high me thinks) until after i mastered ("tried") doing realistic art with all the animals and people (um... really long time ago)... i just applied my realistic style to the anime style and bam! this ish my style with a few other stuff to it... >___< so yah... mabbe thatz why most of my characters have narrow-like almond cat eyes.... ish bc i used to draw my azn friends and myself
